今日ご紹介する曲は『 Alicia Keys / If I Ain`t Got You 』

2003年12月17日に発売になった2ndアルバム「ダイアリー・オブ・アリシア・キーズ」に収録されて大ヒットになった曲です。メロディーといい歌声といい心に残る名曲だと思います。

【 Alicia Keys アリシア・キーズ 】
本名：Alicia J. Augello-Cook、1981年1月25日生まれ。2001年、『ソングス・イン・Aマイナー』でデビュー。2002年のグラミー賞では「Song of the Year」など5部門を独占する。2003年、セカンドアルバム『ダイアリー・オブ・アリシア・キーズ』をリリース。カニエ・ウェストプロデュースのファースト・シングル「ユー・ドント・ノウ・マイ・ネーム（You Don't Know My Name）」、セカンド・シングル「イフ・アイ・エイント・ガット・ユー（If I Ain't Got You）」を始め、多くの曲がアルバムからシングルカットされる。2004年のMTV Video Music Awards 最優秀R&Bビデオ賞を受賞。かつて、ローリン・ヒルをはじめとする多くのアーティストたちが憧れ、出演してきたMTV番組『MTVアンプラグド』はしばらく制作休止中だったが、2005年、アリシアの強い希望で復活、念願であった出演を果たした。2007年、約4年振りとなるオリジナル・アルバム『アズ・アイ・アム』をリリース。全米初登場1位となり、デビュー以来4作連続アルバム・チャート1位を記録。また、ファースト・シングル「ノー・ワン（NO ONE）」も全米シングル・チャートの1位となり、アルバムとシングルの同時1位を達成。
